Before you visit

If you are feeling unwell, please postpone your visit.  

  • Ottawa Public Health recommends that anyone with symptoms not visit a high-risk setting like a hospital or long-term care home.

Vaccination and masking

Everyone on our sites is encouraged to stay up to date with all of the vaccinations for which they are eligible.

During your visit 

Visitors may eat with their loved one unless the unit/home area is in outbreak during which time eating is NOT permitted by visitors.  

  • If your loved one is on additional precautions (contact, droplet, or airborne), please speak with a staff member as additional restrictions may apply. 

Visitors are not permitted to use patient or resident washrooms.  

  • Please use the public washrooms designated at each site.

Bruyère Health Saint-Vincent Hospital

Visitation and accessing the hospital

 

  • Visitors are welcome 24 hours a day, and the number of visitors is determined in collaboration with the patient, their loved ones, and the care team.
  • To help provide a quiet and restful environment, we ask that staff, patients, and visitors observe quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
  • Between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., visitors need to enter through our 60 Cambridge St. N entrance and follow posted signage to enter.

 

Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Hospital

Visitation and accessing the hospital

  • Visitors are welcome 24 hours a day, and the number of visitors is determined in collaboration with the patient, their loved ones, and the care team.
  • To help provide a quiet and restful environment, we ask that staff, patients, and visitors observe quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

  • Between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., visitors need to enter through our 43 Bruyère St. entrance and follow posted signage to enter.

 

 

 

Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Long-Term Care

Visitation and accessing the long-term care home

  • Visitors are welcome 24 hours a day. 
  • To help provide a quiet and restful environment, we ask that staff, residents, and visitors observe quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. 
  • For more information about visitation in long-term care, please read our visitation policy.  
  • Masks are recommended, but not required, in all areas of the home. This means that essential care partners and visitors can share a meal or beverage in designated communal areas. 

 

Bruyère Health Saint-Louis Long-Term Care

Bruyère Health Greystone Transitional Care

This Transitional Care unit is overseen by Bruyère Health and managed by Integrated Care Solutions, a division of Bayshore HealthCare.
