Paula Doering
Senior Vice-President, Clinical Programs, Chief Nursing Executive and Allied Health Professionals

In her role as Senior Vice-President, Paula is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating patient care delivery. She has over 35 years of experience as a health care leader.
A member of the Bruyère Health Board of Directors. Paula is also a member of the Quality Management and Effectiveness Committee, and the Audit and Resource Management Committee.
After receiving her nursing diploma from Algonquin College in 1982, Paula completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (a program for registered nurses to advance their education and skills) in 1988 and her Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa in 1995. She has worked at The Ottawa Hospital as Vice-President of Clinical Programs and Diagnostics. She also served as the Regional Vice-President at Cancer Care Ontario for the Champlain Regional Cancer Program where she was responsible for the quality, standards and advancement of cancer care for the region.
Paula has been involved at the local, regional, provincial, national and international levels in supporting excellence in nursing practice and patient care. She is passionate about ensuring patients receive the highest, safest quality of care.
