Melissa Donskov

Melissa provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across Bruyère Health's long-term care homes and senior living communities and programs.

 

She previously worked in primary health care research, management, and was the medical affairs manager and administrator for the Bruyère Health Academic Medical Organization.

 

Melissa was also the director of operations at the Bruyère Health Centre for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care.  In that role, she led her team to many successes with projects aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided to long-term care residents, increasing the workforce’s knowledge and skills and helping shape the long-term care system of the future.

 

Melissa has a master’s degree in health administration and an undergraduate degree in physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa. She also holds Canadian College of Health Leaders and Certified Human Resources Leader designations, as well as a Lean Green Belt certification.
