Investigating the Impact of Aging on Balance and Walking While Multi-tasking

Bruyère Health Research Institute is looking for volunteers aged 65-85 to participate in a study investigating walking patterns and balance when doing two tasks at once. This will take place at the Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Hospital in Lower Town (43 Bruyère Street) and take about 45 minutes. Who is eligible:
- Adults aged 65-85
- Able to walk 10 meters without physical assistance or gait aid
- Ability to carry a glass of water in one hand
- No musculoskeletal or neurological conditions, or pain or injury impacting walking ability
What to expect:
- Come to one 45 min testing session at 43 Bruyère Street
- Answer demographic questions
- Partake in an easy walking and balance test
